The Rebrew Recursion BBA Imperial Scotch Ale is aged in a bourbon barrel. The barrel then went to the coffee roaster, where they then fermented and aged Colombia Gaitania coffee beans. The brewery has again drawn a cold brew from this, which has been added to the beer.
The result is a rich beer, with the aromas of cookies, vanilla, bourbon, oak, coffee, and a subtle hint of wine. The taste is full and long, with a coffee biscuit aftertaste.
