This new version is dosed with 100% Nelson Sauvin in all kettle, whirlpool and two massive dry hop additions. The local wildflower honey keeps the body light and drinkable while providing a floral, earthy backbone.Pouring a hazy golden straw, Nelson Sauvin Cutting Tiles is intensely aromatic, teeming with sweet tones of tropical fruit, bright citrus, and vanilla. Bold flavors of pulpy grapefruit, lemon-lime zest, and ripe kiwi take the lead on the palate as notes of honeydew melon and table grapes develop and add depth. Trillium Brewing Company Mettle - Double IPA / 8,4% vol / 47,3 cl. In the spirit of tenacity and camaraderie, Mettle was first created to highlight the milestone of our inaugural year as a brewery. With an intense dual dry-hop treatment of Amarillo and Citra, this medium-bodied Double IPA beckons with aromatics of peach and nectarine. A fusion of grape juice and candied citrus greet the palate while accents of white-wine, grassy hop, and a mellow bitterness reveal themselves on a smooth, dry finish. We continue to brew Mettle in recognition of our devoted following of hopheads that have supported us from the very beginning. Untappd 4.34

The DIPA, or Double IPA, is the strong brother of the regular India Pale Ale. More malt, more alcohol, and more hops. More hops are needed to balance the sweet notes of the stronger beer. The classic Double IPA has a strong bitterness, but nowadays you see more and more DIPAs with notes of tropical fruit and a relatively low bitterness. Ultimately, the Double IPA is more of an 'in your face' beer, with great flavours, which is why you see that this beer type is becoming increasingly popular.
