Brouwerij Hoevebrugsch, founded by Martijn and Peter, is a very small, but complete brewery, right in the center of Rotterdam. It is located on the Spoorsingel, in the classic Provenierswijk. Everything takes place in the brewery itself, even the labelling!
The name 'Hoevebrugsch' stems from the origin of the brewery. This was divided into 2 parts. 1 part was used to brew the beer, on which the brew was transported over the Hoevebrug, so that it could ferment at location number 2.
Later, the brewery moved to its current location, on the Spoorsingel, next to cafe Walenburg. With a look at the past, because the brewery has a view of the Hoevenbrug.
