Brasserie de Blaugies is a small, traditional family brewery, located in Wallonia, Belgium. The beers are brewed without filtering, and they all have refermentation in the bottle.
The brewery was started in 1988 by the couple Pierre-Alex Carlier and Marie-Noelle Pourtois. The couple's son, Kevin Carlier, has a degree in biochemistry, and manages the brewery together with his wife and father-in-law. Even the children are active in the restaurant near the brewery.
Brasserie de Blaugies produces different beer styles, but they are really specialized in the Saison or Farmhouse Ale. Complex, with the classic spicy notes of a saison, but also fresh at the same time. Fantastic beers for the sun, but certainly also for enjoying all year round.
